The principal of an elementary school in
California says students are eating more since they moved recess before lunch.
Before the change, students were throwing out most of their meals so they could
go play -- leading to hunger and inattention during the second half of the
school day. "Before we used to fill our salad bar just one time the entire
lunch process," said principal Saida Valdez. "And now we refill it
three to four times."
